The Mount Olivet Day Services Learning Community is a weekly collaborative support group offered in conjunction with the University of Minnesota’s Family Caregiving Center. This group is open to the public and offers education and supportive discussion for persons with chronic illness, caregivers, families and professionals. Participants will share ways to:

• Cope with chronic illness issues
• Manage day-to-day concerns of caregiving
• Ease the transition into adult day programs or nursing care

Mount Olivet Home & Mount Olivet Careview Home Caregiver Support Group

Mount Olivet Home and Mount Olivet Careview Home invite you to join the Caregiver Support Group, a monthly meeting for caregivers to talk about the challenges of placing a loved one in a long-term care facility. At monthly meetings, you will:

• Connect with other caregivers and professionals who understand how you feel.
• Learn through shared stories and experiences.
• Gain perspective on grief and memory loss issues.
