The Mount Olivet Day Services Learning Community is a weekly collaborative support group offered in conjunction with the University of Minnesota’s Family Caregiving Center. This group is open to the public and offers education and supportive discussion for persons with chronic illness, caregivers, families and professionals. Participants will share ways to:
- Cope with chronic illness issues
- Manage day-to-day concerns of caregiving
- Ease the transition into adult day programs or nursing care
